Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia, in cooperation with law enforcement authorities of Donbass and other operational services, will record the traces of illegal actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine associated with the shelling of a field hospital.

Reportedly, in March 2022, the mobile medical facility was shelled from Ukraine with the Tochka-U missiles with cluster munitions. Doctors and wounded servicemen were in the medical modules of the facility. One person from the special purpose medical staff was injured with shrapnel, some people were shell-shocked. The shelling damaged medical equipment needed to treat patients, including local residents and Ukrainian prisoners of war. Despite the incident, the doctors continued their operations.

As part of the investigation of cases on crimes committed by Ukrainian military personnel, investigators of the IC of Russia, in cooperation with their colleagues, will check these reports and identify the unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the officials responsible for organizing this crime, in order to give their actions a legal assessment.
