Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia will request documents from their colleagues at the Russian law enforcement agencies containing falsified data about alleged violations of the Minsk Agreements committed by the DPR and LPR.

Reportedly, Ukrainian intelligence officers prepared reports, including those sent to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), about alleged violations of the Minsk Agreements by the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The failure to implement a set of measures providing for the withdrawal of heavy weapons, the withdrawal of foreign units and the start of a dialogue on holding local elections in the south-east of Ukraine were justified by non-existent videos on one of the video hosting websites.

Investigators of the IC of Russia will attach the respective documents to the materials of criminal cases on the crimes of the Ukrainian military, analyze the information received and identify the persons acting as the initiators and executors of reports containing false information.
