Investigation is launched a criminal case on calls for the Russian servicemen murder against Ukrainian nationalist Volodymyr Shilov

Social networks have published a video where the Ukrainian nationalist Volodymyr Shilov said that he gave the order not to capture the Russian military, but to kill them on the spot. Based on that, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a criminal case in accordance with paragraphs. "a" and "c" part 2,  Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred and enmity as well as dignity humiliation of a group of persons on the basis of a social group belonging, committed publicly, including the Internet use, with the threat of violence, organized by a group).

The investigation established that acting as an organized group on the territory of Ukraine Vladimir Shilov and other Ukrainian nationalists made a video for the purpose of inciting hatred and enmity against the Russian military personnel; in that video Shilov personally and publicly made a statement inciting hatred and enmity towards Russian military personnel, and his words were accompanied by the threat of Russian military personnel murder.

Earlier it was reported that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to give a legal assessment of Shilov’s statements.

Currently, the investigation is establishing all the details and circumstances, and is taking measures for the identification of all participants of the video.
