The evidences collected by the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Novosibirsk region were recognized as sufficient for the verdict is being adjudicated to the former chairman of the advertising and information committee of the mayor's office of the city of Novosibirsk.

He is guilty of committing 11 intentional crimes of corruption, including the including cases in business activities (Art. 289 the  Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – 1 episode), receiving bribes for issuing permits for the advertising structures placing in the Novosibirsk city and other actions, on a specially large scale, for a total amount of more than 800 thousand rubles. (Part. 2 Art. 290 – 6 episodes, paragraphs. «c» Part 5 Art. 290 – 2 episodes, Part 1 Art. 290 the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – 1 episode), including the money laundry obtained by criminal means in the amount of more than 400 thousand rubles. (Part. 1 Art 174.1 the Criminal Code of te Russian Federation – 1 episode).

According to the investigation and the court, the accused have organized a bribes receiving scheme from the representatives of companies and individual entrepreneurs of the Novosibirsk city through a legal entity controlled by him (LLC "Soglasiye"), and brokered by an employee of the mentioned above company  - a former employee of the advertising committee.

These illegal actions were committed for the unhindered applications acceptance, the permits issuance, for the advertising structures placement, including those installed in violation of the requirements of the architectural and artistic regulations, and also for other functions implementation of the advertising committee.

The Accused admitted his guilt in full.

According to the verdict, the accused was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 5 years and 9 months, with a fine of 3 million rubles, with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in state bodies and local governments related to the execution of organizational, administrative and economic powers, for a period of 6 years; with serving a sentence in a maximum security penal colony.
