A Criminal Case Has Been Initiated Over the Shelling of Kursk Oblast by Ukraine’s Military

The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case over the shelling of the territory of Kursk Oblast by the armed formations of Ukraine; the case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3, Article 30;  Paragraphs a, f, g, Part 2, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation  (attempted murder of two or more persons, committed in a generally dangerous way, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).

According to the investigators, on June 6, 2022, in the morning time, Ukrainian armed formations fired at least 20 mortar and artillery shells at civilian infrastructure in order to kill an indefinite circle of people from among the residents of the village of Tetkino, Kursk Oblast. The shelling damaged a car, non-residential buildings, as well as a bridge across the Seym River. There are no civilian casualties.

The necessary examinations have been scheduled as part of the investigation of the criminal case; all the circumstances of this crime are being established and persons from among the Ukrainian military involved in its commission are being identified.
