The Investigative Committee of Russia launched two more criminal cases under the offense prescribed in Part 1 Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (ill-treatment of civilian persons, use of banned means and methods of warfare) against the servicemen of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Evgeny Kurash, Sergey Postupalsky, Roman Mamavko, Nikolai Yanchey; 25th separate paratrooper brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Andrey Kachanov, Roman Zabrodsky, Andrey Tkachuk, Dmitry Chernichenko, Emil Ishkulov, Vladimir Kapitula; 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Oleksandr Zinevich, Mykola Perestupnyak; 56th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Dmitry Dovbich, Sergey Sirchenko, Dmitry Gerasimenko, Vyacheslav Bugaychuk, Alexander Bondarenko, Miroslav Verkhovy, Artem Puchkov, Gennady Boyko.

According to the investigation, between June 10 and June 11, 2022, during 24hrs, the listed above servicemen gave and executed the criminal orders for targeted artillery attacks from heavy weapons on civilian infrastructure in the cities of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeevka and the settlements of Vladimirovka, Pavlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic , and in the cities of Pervomaisk and Stakhanov of the Lugansk People's Republic. As a result of the shelling of the Donetsk, Gorlovka and Makeevka cities, the Vladimirovka settlement and Pavlovka village, 26 civilians were injured, including two juveniles, 7 civilians were killed, 44 houses and civilian infrastructure were damaged. In addition, as a result of artillery shelling of Pervomaisk and Stakhanov of the Lugansk People's Republic, 38 residential buildings and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, including the administration building of the Pervomaisk city and the Stakhanov’s Industrial and Economic College.

All investigative actions and operational procedures are being carried out due to identify all persons involved in the commission of the mentioned crimes.
