A Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee holds an operational meeting in Saint Petersburg

During a working visit to Saint Petersburg, Mr. Aleksander Ivanovich Bastirkin, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, held an operational meeting dedicated to the construction and reconstruction of the Academy’s two buildings in Saint Petersburg. The meeting was attended by Mr. Sergei Nikolaevich Goryainov, Vice-Chairman of the IC of Russia, the staff of the Saint Petersburg IC Academy, Ms. Maria Dmitrievna Krasnopeeva, the Head of the Academy’s Cultural Center, and the representatives of civil construction companies.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee personally inspected the process of repair and construction work being conducted on the IC Academy’s territory in Saint Petersburg. He also heard the progress reports on implementation of the instructions given at the previous meeting.

During his working visit, Mr. A.I. Bastirkin and Mr. S.N. Goryainov met with the Academy’s orphan students and students deprived of parental care, congratulated them on the completion of the academic year and asked questions about their progress. 

Mr. Aleksander Ivanovich also expressed his interest in their participation in the student group of the Russian Investigative Committee and their training as associative investigators. The students demonstrated to the Chairman their accomplishments and shared their problems and future plans.
