A verdict is adjudicated in criminal case on the misappropriation of PJSC Aeroflot funds

Evidence collected by the Investigative Committee of Russia was deemed sufficient for the Court to sentence Mr. Vladimir Aleksandrov, PJSC Aeroflot Deputy General Director for Corporate Security, Ms. Tatiana Davidova, PJSC Aeroflot Deputy Director of Law Department, Mr. Alexander Slivko and Ms. Dina Kibetz, the attorneys for Moscow Oblast Integrated Bar “Your Legal Partner”. All accused individuals were found guilty of a serious offense prescribed in the Article 159 part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Fraud committed by an organized group).

Investigation and the court found that in 2015 and 2016, Mr. Aleksandrov, as a member of an organized group that includes Ms. Davidova and attorneys Mr. Slivko and Ms. Kibetz, designed and concluded five legal services agreements with the above mentioned attorneys for the purposes of stealing the funds. However, the actual execution of contractual services was carried out by the staff of the legal department of PJSC Aeroflot. Between 2016 and 2018 two treaty members Mr. Aleksandrov and Ms. Davidova performed unfounded transfers of at least 250 mln rubles, based on the invoices prepared by Mr. Slivko and Ms. Kibetz that contained deliberately inaccurate data of the services provided. As a result of these unlawful acts, the funds in the amount of at least 250 mln rubles were stolen from PJSC Aeroflot. All money received was spent by the members of the group at their own discretion.

During the investigation, the property of the members of the group was identified and evaluated in order to implement interim measures and consequently impose the sentence. On the motion of the investigation, the court seized the expensive cars, a real estate and cash, meanwhile only Mr.Alexandrov's arrested property has amounted about 10 million rubles.

In accordance with the verdict, Mr. Vladimir Aleksandrov is sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment with a fine of 900 thousand rubles, Ms. Tatiana Davidova is sentenced to 6.5 years of imprisonment with a fine of 700 thousand rubles, Mr. Aleksander Slivko is sentenced to 6,5 years of imprisonment with a fine of 650 thousand rubles, Ms. Dina Kibetz is sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment with a fine of 600 thousand rubles.
