Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, took part in the meeting of the Multi-departmental Commission of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on Improving the State Migration Policy, held via videoconference chaired by Mr. Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council RF. The event was attended by Federal Ministers, the Heads of services and departments.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed: the social security for people which were forced to leave the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, including the Ukrainians migrated to Russia; the validity of their documents, including educational ones, on the territory of our country, and the improvements to legislation in relation to the migration.
The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee drew attention to the neccessity of creating the conditions for real support for people who arrived in Russia. This referes to their employment, re-issuing of lost documents, obtaining additional measures of social support, including those related to the payment of maternity capital and other benefits to families where children were alrady been born on the territory of our country.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to continue developing a set of cooperative efforts to amend the approaches towards the recognition of documents issued in Ukraine on the RF territory, the arrangements of other conditions for having a flexible system of state support for citizens in difficult life situations, and making a favorable migration situation in the country.
