Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed to access the situation with with the provision of medicines for seriously ill children

After a personal conference-meeting with parents, having disabled children from Vladimirskaya, Kaliningradskaya and Tomskaya oblast, which took place the day before, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia received many appeals from the citizens of other regions, who were equally concerned with the problems of the medication supply to the disabled children.

In this regard, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Main Directorate to inqure the information from the territorial investigative authorities in order to further investigate the medical provision for seriously ill children. After the data is analyzed, the relevant procedures will be carried out by the Investigative Committee and within their competence, in order to restore the violated rights of citizens. Additionally, all the information about the aforementioned disgraceful situation will be submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation.

Furthermore, Mr A.I. Bastrykin instructed to arrange a separate personal meeting for the parents of seriously ill children who were affected by the inadequate medication supply In the regions mentioned below, because the largest number of complaints came exactly from there. The regions are: the city of Moscow, the Moscowskaya, Kemerovskaya, Novosibirskaya oblasts, the Republic of Crimea, etc.

On top of that, the Chairman of the IC of Russia requested the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation to assist in eliminating of the excessive bureaucracy and formalities in obtaining medicines for seriously ill children.
