The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed his subordinated Officers in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office to ensure the adoption of a lawful and justified decision on the case of the attack on a young man in the Moscow metro. The young man came to the defense of the girl. The mentioned instruction was ordered in connection with the distribution of information in the media platforms, where it was stated that the three defendants may have a try on a lesser charge.

According to the investigation, three men severely beat a passenger of the Moscow Metro; the crime was recorded on video. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Following the instruction, ordered by Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Head of the Investigative Committee, a criminal case was launched against the detained three men in accordance with Part 3, Article 30, and Part 2 Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder from molester motives). The accused is imposed pre-trial restrain as custody.
