According to media reports, unknown persons damaged the railway in Kurskaya oblast. Damage to one of the rails was found at the 28th kilometer of the "Lgov-Sudzha" railway. According to this, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Kurskaya oblast organized a procedural inspection.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. AB Gusev, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Kurskaya oblast, to report on the initial activities of the inspection related to the circumstances of the incident. Investigation and results of the inspection is the subject to control of the Main Investigative Directorate.
