The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to report on the circumstances of the use of violence against a teacher in Voronezhskaya oblast

August 10, 2022, a man used violence against an English teacher in the Liski town, Voronezhskaya oblast, after the woman stood up for her children on the street. As a result of the conflict, the teacher was diagnosed with eye concussion and contusion. This matter was originally investigated by the Police Department. Later the Investigative Authorities of the Russian Investigative Committee for Voronezhskaya oblast initiated the transfer of investigation to them.

Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin instructed Mr. K.E. Levit, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Voronezhskaya oblast, to submit a detailed report on the circumstances of the incident. The execution of the instruction is a subject to control of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee.
