In Moscovskaya oblast, a manager of the pension house is detained, after a fire broke out and three children died

Within the investigation of a criminal case launched on the offense of a crime prescribed in Part 3, Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (infliction of death by negligence to two or more persons), the Investigating Authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscovskaya oblast detained the manager of a pension house, where the fire broke out and three children died. In addition, a criminal case was launched on providing services that do not meet safety requirements (Part 3, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Earlier it was reported that on August 11, 2022, the bodies of three children were found: two girls, born in 2013 and 2015, and their brother, born in 2016, while extinguishing a fire in a house located in the Maloe Vidnoye settlement. The children were left unattended by their mother and they were locked in the attic floor of the house. At some point, when the fire broke out, children could not get out. Preliminary cause of children's death: poisoning by combustion products. The cause of the fire is being identified, and a fire-technical forensic examination was appointed.

During the initial investigation, it was determined that according to documents, the mentioned building is a private residence, but in fact it serves as a guest house, it contains 12 rooms, which are rented out without formalizing any contractual relationships, the rooms were rented by migrants too. In this regard, the Investigating Authorities also organized an inspection to confirm the actions or inactions of Officials in charge of migration control and the prevention of offenses in this area.
