The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia holds a brief meeting in St. Petersburg

Within a working trip to St. Petersburg, Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, held a brief meeting on the issues of construction, reconstruction and material and technical equipment of buildings of departmental educational organizations of the Russian Investigative Committee. The event was attended by: Ms. Elena Yurievna Garanina, Principal of the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps - acting. Principal of the boarding school for students of the IC of Russia and Officers of departmental educational institutions.

The meeting participants discussed the schedule for the reconstruction and construction of a group of buildings to accommodate the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The buildings will be deployed in Old Peterhof on the territory of the former military hospital and will be represented by educational and administrative, dormitory, medical blocks, a gym and an auxiliary education building, which are planned to be connected by covered galleries. There is a parade ground and gymnastic grounds for outdoor activities.

The Head of the Department listened to reports on the stages and volumes of the planned activities and once again reminded of the need to carry out the construction and reconstruction of facilities carefully and responsibly, considering all standards and requirements. At the same time, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia emphasized that the conditions for the education of students must meet the established standards, contribute to the effectiveness of the educational process and the successful deeping of academic curriculum by the children.

In addition, during the meeting, issues of organizing the recruitment of students who arrived from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, their integration into the Russian education system were discussed. The participants of the meeting also noted the importance of the department's work aimed at raising the level of patriotic education of the cadets of the Investigative Committee, strengthening their moral-volitional and ethical-psychological qualities.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin gave a number of specific instructions aimed at prompt resolving all the issues discussed and ensuring the comprehensive readiness of departmental educational institutions for the start of the upcoming academic year.
