The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee instructed to report on the illness of children after a rest in a children's camp in the Republic of Bashkortostan

The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan are investigating a criminal case launched in accordance with Part 1, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (providing services that do not meet safety requirements), according to a message from the media about the illness of children who had a rest in a children's camp. Two girls, 10 and 15 years old, 4 day, after the returning from the camp, were taken to the hospital with a diagnosis of hemorrhagic fever. After completing the course of treatment, both girls were released. Currently, there is no threat to their life and health. It was identified that an excess of the permissible norm of rodent population was recorded on the territory of the camp, which is a violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements and standards.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed Mr. Masallimov I.G., acting Head of the Investigative Directorate for the Republic of Bashkortostan, to report on the circumstances of the incident.

The investigation of the criminal case is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate.
