The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. Govorunov A.Yu., Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Saratovskaya oblast, to launch a criminal case on the accident where a 12-year-old boy died and a 16-year-old teenager was injured.
On August 15, 2022, a 16-year-old driver, driving an "Oka" car, moving towards the Voskresenka settlement, Engelskiy raion, Saratovskaya oblast, collided with a road sign, causing the car to overturn. As a result of the accident, a 12-year-old boy who took the passenger's seat died. In addition, the 16-year-old driver was injured; he was taken to a medical facility. The investigating authorities of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Saratovskaya oblast are inspecting the details and facts.
In addition, the Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed Mr. A.D. Nadbitov, acting Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Sverdlovskaya oblast, to identify thoroughly the causes and conditions that led to an accident involving a 16-year-old teenager in Nizhny Tagil.
Today in the Nizhny Tagil city, there was a collision of a Hyundai Accent car and a GAZ Luidor ambulance car. As a result of a traffic accident, a 16-year-old teenager who did not have the right to drive vehicles, who was driving a Hyundai Accent, died. Also, 4 more people died: three passengers of the mentioned above Hyundai car and a female ambulance paramedic. In addition, two persons were hospitalized: a Hyundai passenger and the driver of GAZ Luidor. On the mentioned facts, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Sverdlovskaya oblast launched acriminal case on the offense of a crime prescribed in Part 6, Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules that negligently caused the death of two or more persons, committed by a person who is not liscensed to drive).
