The investigation of the circumstances of a child's death in Permskiy krai is a subject to control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia

Earlier it was reported that on the evening of August 12, 2022, in the Verkhnechusovskie Gorodki village, a 6-year-old girl left home for a store and did not return. In order to identify her location more than 130 households, 100 vehicles were examined, more than 100 witnesses were questioned. Investigators and forensic experts of the Russian Investigative Committee, police officers and volunteers were engaged in the search. Soon it became known about the discovery of the body of a child in a fire water pit - not far from the place where witnesses saw the girl for the last time.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. D.V. Golovkin, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Permskiy krai, to submit a detailed report on the progress in identifying the circumstances of the 6-year-old girl's disaзperance (paragraph “c”, Part 2, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the investigative actions carried out. The Head of the Russian Investigative Committee also instructed to investigate all lines of inquiry related to the child's death, including the criminal ones. All necessary set of examinations was appointed. The investigation and results is the subject to personal control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

At the order of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee on the fact of the disappearance of children, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia launch a criminal investigation immediately and carry out large-scale of search activities with the right to involve the law enforcement officers, volunteer organizations, and local residents, aimed at identifying the location of the child urgently.
