On August 24, 2022, motivated by molester, a 26-year-old local resident stabbed a 12-year-old girl, inflicting a cut wound on her, near one of the houses on Razvodnaya Street. On this fact, the investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg launched a criminal case in accordance with Part 2, Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (criminal damage). The schoolgirl was taken to a children's hospital, where she received qualified medical care. Currently, the issue of choosing a measure of restraint for the detainee and bringing charges is being decided. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg to submit a report on the criminal investigation, and the case itsels is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
