The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed Mr.Golovkin D.V. , Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Permskiy Krai to report on the investigative actions carried out in the criminal case of the murder of a mother and a child (paragraphs “a”, “c”, Part 2, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigation identified that a woman living in Perm planned to commit the murder of her friend. For this purpose, the suspect invited the victim and her child to pay a visit to her. On August 17, 2022, an acquaintance of the suspect, armed with a knife, first killed the mother, and then strangled a young girl. After that, the accomplices took the bodies of the victims in a car from the scene and buried them in a forest. During the urgent detective-search activities, the perpetrators were detained. During interrogations, they confirmed their involvement in the murders and reported the place where the bodies of the victims were hidden. The defendants are imposed a pre-trial restraint as custody.

The investigation is a subject to control of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee.
