The investigating authorities of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Novosibirsk oblast arranged an inspection based on information posted in the media that an Employee of one of the shopping stores in the city of Novosibirsk closed a 9-year-old boy in a refrigerated warehouse due to the fact that the minor asked to remove expired products from store shelves.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Mr. Zaripov V.B., Acting Head of the Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Novosibirsk oblast to launch a criminal case and submit a report.

The investigation is a subject of control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.

In addition, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, instructed Mr. Vinnikov O.E., Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Omsk oblast, to submit a report on the investigation of a crime against the sexual integrity of a minor. On the order of the Head of the Department, the forensic-experts and specialists from the Main Directorate (Forensic Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia) will be involved in the investigation due to provide some practical assistance.

The investigation of the criminal case is a subject of control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
