The investigation of an accident in Yaroslavl oblast, resulting in people's death, is a subject to control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia

The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Yaroslavl oblast launched a criminal case on the traffic accident with four dead on the 14th km of the R-132 "Golden Ring" highway, in accordance with Part 3, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the provision of services that do not meet the requirements of life safety and the health of consumers, resulting in the death of two or more persons through negligence).

According to investigation, the driver of the tanker, and employees of the medical institution - a 66-year-old man and women aged 36 and 60 years old, died, as a result of the fuel imflamination.

Officers of the Main Directorate of Forensic Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia and the regional investigative directorate are working on the scene, a number of forensic examinations have already been appointed, eyewitnesses of the incident have been interrogated, and other investigative actions are being carried out aimed at identifying all the circumstances of the incident.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr.Shchurov A.P., Head of the investigative Directorate for Yaroslavl oblast, to submit a report on the progress of the investigation, and the investigation is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
