Social networks report that on August 26, 2022, a group 3 disabled person was attacked near one of the houses on Kollontai Street in the city of St. Petersburg. It was noted that the attacker, possibly previously convicted, threatened to take away the victim's mobile phone. The publication also states that the attacker may be involved in other similar crimes, including the crime against the mentioned citizen.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the leadership of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg tolaunch a criminal investigation on the mentioned above fact and to submit a report. The investigation is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
