Officers of the Russian Investigative Committee help children from the People's Republics of Donbas in preparation for the Day of Knowledge


The first of September is a special day for millions of schoolchildren, who start their time for new knowledge, acquaintances and classes.

On the eve of the new academic year, Officers of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation brought humanitarian aid to the city of Volnovakha, which was aqured on funds raised by Officers of the Department. This time the main focus was concentrated on school supplies. Directly knowing all the difficulties that local residents are experiencing today, the investigators purchased almost 200 sets of first grader and high school student. The local administration has provided a list of schools whose students are mostly in need of such assistance. Despite the fact that some educational institutions are located in rural areas, Officers of the Investigative Committee of Russia, together with Ms.Elena Snisarenko, Deputy Head of the Volnovakhsky administration for social issues, visited each of them. School principals, who received the gifts, handed them over to the students during the celebratory assembly dedicated to the start of the new academic year.

As part of the All-Russian campaign "Get the child ready for school", Officers of the Regional Directorates of the Russian Investigative Committee also provide assistance to children who have arrived from the territories of the People's Republics of Donbas. Officers of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Kurskaya oblast helped to gather orphans from the DPR for school. Officers visited three specialized schools where children and caregivers accompanied them. By the beginning of the school year, Officerss of the Department gave gifts to the children, which will be useful to them in their studies. The children were also told about the possibility of entering and studying in educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

A special day awaits 7-year-old Miroslava, who arrived with her mother from Mariupol, this year she will go to school for the first time in the already familiar and almost native Tolyatti. Officers of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Samarskaya oblast helped her mother in buying everything necessary for the successful start of an important stage in Miroslava's life. 12 more children are in the temporary accommodation center together with Miroslava, they will continue their education in the schools of Togliatti. Officers of the Department gave gifts to each child and helped with the acquisition of the necessary clothes.

Officers of the investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Nizhny Novgorod oblast visited children from the DPR in a special rehabilitation and educational institution "Avtozavodsky house of social services for children "Nadezhda" before the start of the school year. The investigators congratulated them on the upcoming new academic year, wished them good health, success in their studies, striving to achieve their goals, goodness and realization of their most cherished desires. In addition to stationery, for physical development and maintenance of physical fitnes, the children were presented with balls, jump ropes, exercise equipment and table tennis rackets, which they immediately used by playing a game with a representative of the investigative directorate.

Mr. K.E. Levit, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Voronezhskaya oblast and officers of the directorate visited a temporary accommodation center in the Gribanovsky raion, where they met with children, who had arrived from Donbas and were left without parental care, and they met with their caregivers too. From the moment of children's arrival to Voronezhskaya oblast, warm and friendly relations have developed between them and the Officers of the regional directorate of the IC: the children were looking forward to the visit of the officers of the directorate, sincerely expressing their joy at every meeting. Especially for the guests arrival, children prepared a festive concert. The Officers of the Directorate were pleasantly surprised and thanked the kids for their talent and positive emotions received.

In Vologda Oblast, Officers of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia visited the families of children who arrived at the Vologda temporary accommodation center from the People's Republics of Donbas, entered in educational organizations of the regional center. The Officers congratulated the children from three families and their parents on the upcoming Day of Knowledge, handing over not only candies for the joy of children, but also school backpacks and folders with school supplies and stationeries, which will help them to comprehend new knowledge successfully in the future. The youngest of the guys, Timofey from Mariupol, is 6 years old. Good meetings with his family have already become a tradition for Officers of the investigative directorate.

Mr. Sergey Tikhonovich Sazin, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Leningradskaya oblast, visited the temporary accommodation facility in Tikhvinsky raion for persons arriving from the DPR, LPR and Ukraine, and congratulated the future eight first-graders on the Day of Knowledge. Mr. Sergey Tikhonovich spoke about the educational institutions of the Investigative Committee system in St. Petersburg: about the cadet corps, about the boarding school, and he expressed his confidence that the children would successfully continue their studies at school, after which they would be able to enter higher educational institutions, including the St. Petersburg Academy of the Russian Investigative Committee.

The Investigation Directorate for Astrakhanskaya oblast helped a woman with a child who arrived from Donbas. The Officers assisted her in enrolling her son in the first grade. Mr. A.I. Slyusarev, First Deputy Head of the Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Astrakhanskaya oblast, personally congratulated the boy on the start of the school year and handed over the necessary stationeries, creative kits and sweets.

Officers of the Investigative Directorates of the Russian Investigative Committee in Irkutskaya, Murmanskaya, Kaluga oblast, the Udmurt Republic, Stavropolskiy and Krasnoyarskiy krai and other regions helped to get children from the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics ready for school.

On the eve of the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year, Officers of the Russian Investigative Committee throughout the country visited children from large families and pupils of sponsored children's social institutions. But patronage and care for children is not limited to gifts for the holidays but it continues on an ongoing basis, because one of the mottos of our work is "There are no other people's children"!
