Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Mr. A.A. Strizhov, Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the ICR for Moscow, to conduct a procedural inspection about possible crimes against juveniles.

According to available information, a married couple from Rostov oblast used violence against their children in Moscow. A father with many children abused his children: a 7-year-old daughter, as well as 11-year-old and 10-year-old sons. All that happened in the presence of their mother. According to open sources, when a young daughter asked for food and cried, her father kicked her in the head, knocking out her teeth. He beat his sons for refusing to steal from shops.

The Head of the Department instructed the investigators to submit a detailed report on the circumstances of the incident, to detect other possible facts of crimes against children and, if there are any grounds, to take a procedural decision immediately. The inspection is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate.
