Investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee document the consequences of the shelling of the college in Perevalsk by the Armed Forces of the LPR


Investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation documented the consequences of the shelling of a college committed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from multiple launch rocket systems in the Perevalsk city, Lugansk People's Republic.

On the mentioned above fact, a criminal case was launched on the offense of a crime prescribed in Part 1, Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (ill-treatment of the civilian population, use of banned means and methods of warfare).

The investigation detected that at least 4 rockets hit the educational institution; this was a location where students from 9 and 11 grades were trained in the professions of a cook, hairdresser and confectioner. As a result of the attack, a 2004-born student was fatally injuries. 4 more children and 1 teacher received shrapnel wounds of varying severity and were hospitalized. The college building suffered significant damage.

Currently, the scene of crime is inspected and examined, forensic medical examinations are scheduled. Eyewitnesses have been questioned. Measures are being taken to identify the persons involved in the commission of this crime.

The preliminary investigation continues.
