Yesterday afternoon, when a passenger train was traveling on the Murmansk-St. Petersburg route along the Kuna-Yagelny Bor station, 5 wagons derailed without tipping over. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

On this fact, the investigating authorities of the Western Interregional Investigation Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation organized a pre-investigation inspection.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed the authorities of the Western Interregional Investigation Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to launch a criminal investigation. The investigation is a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee.
