The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation continues to work on fixing the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions against the civilian population of Donbas, Ukraine and Russia.
On the order of Mr. Bastrykin A.I., Chairman of the IC of Russia , a criminal case was launched against servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other Ukrainian formations, who, on September 14, 2022, from the territory of Ukraine, fired mortars at the settlemnt of Krasny Khutor, Belgorodskiy raion, Belgorod oblast as a result of which two residential buildings were damaged (Part 3, Article 30, paragraph 3 of Art. paragraphs "a", "d", "g" Part 2 article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Also, the investigating authorities of the Russian Investigative Committee launched and are investigating a criminal case against servicemen of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the fact of the shelling of Kherson on September 14, 2022, as a result of which four civilians were killed (part 1 of article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee are investigating a criminal case against a serviceman of the 115th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldier Mr.Dinu Shiman. According to the investigation, on July 13, 2022, he fired at civilian infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in Lisichansk from a grenade launcher, committing infringement on lives of civilians.
In the proceedings of the investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee there is a criminal case launched against a soldier of the 40th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldier Roman Bondarenko, who on February 24 and 25, 2022 fired at civilian facilities in the city of Shchastia of the LPR, infringmenting on the lives of citizens not participating in the armed conflict associated with the destruction of residential buildings.
In addition, the circumstances of the commission by one of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of a crime under paragraph "a" part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which, no later than September 14, 2022, in order to incite hatred and enmity against a group of persons supporting the conduct of a special military operation by the Russian Armed Forces in the territory of Donbass and Ukraine, posted a video message for free on the Internet. In the video, he expressed a threat of physical violence against Russian servicemen.
The investigation of criminal cases against the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the 107th rocket artillery brigade, and officials of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the fact of shelling on September 13, 2022 with the use of the American MLRS "HIMARS" of the cities of Stakhanov and Lisichansk in the LPR, which resulted in the death of two civilians resident, one person was injured, 15 civilian objects were damaged (part 1 of article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
On the instruction of the head of the department, investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated and are investigating a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs. "a", "c" part 2 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act), in relation to the participants of the MFU, who on September 12, 2022 carried out the installation and subsequent detonation of explosive devices on the railway track in the Bryansk oblast, as a result of which it was deformed. Damage was received by two pylons of power lines, significant material damage was caused.
Investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee also continue to investigate the criminal case against Mr. Andriy Bogdan, a serviceman of the 1st Battalion of the 12th Operational Brigade "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine. The investigation established that in March 2022, he committed the murder of a detained DPR serviceman in Mariupol, who handed over his weapons and did not participate in hostilities (Part 1, Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigation of criminal cases launched in accordance with the Part 1 of Article. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, in relation to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who on September 13, 2022 from the territory of Ukraine shelled the villages of Zhuravlevka in the Belgorod oblast and Shelayevo in the Valuy urban district of the Belgorod oblast using multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of this, 2 civilians were injured, administration buildings and schools, a cultural center, as well as two residential buildings and a car were damaged.
The Russian Investigative Committee continues to identify units of the Ukrainian armed formations and specific individuals from their composition involved in the shelling of civilians.
