Investigation of the circumstances over the liberty deprivation of a juvenile girl from Krasnoyarsk is a subject to control f the Chairman of the Investigative Commettee


The investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia are investigating a criminal case against a 40-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man - residents of the village of Zeleny Bor in the Minusinsk city, Krasnoyarsk krai. The spouses are suspected of committing crimes prescribed in Part 1, Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (improper execution of duties of the upbringing the juvenile child by a parent, combined with ill-treatment of a juvenile), paragraphs "a", "e" part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (unlawful confinement of liberty committed by a group of persons in collusion against a known juvenile).

According to the investigation, in between May and July 2022, the suspects, while in their house in the Zeleny Bor village in the city of Minusinsk, intending to influence the upbringing of their 13-year-old daughter, who came from walks later than the time set by her parents, repeatedly tied the girl with a metal chain to a heating pipe, depriving the freedom of movement. At present, all children have been removed from the family, and a measure of restraint has been imposed against the girl's mother as a written undertaking not to leave and proper behavior. The man was detained, the investigation intends to petition for imposing a restaraint for him as custody.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed Mr. A.L. Eremin, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the IC for Krasnoyarskiy krai and the Republic of Khakassia, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation, the results of which are the subject to control of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
