An appeal was submitted to the authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, where the relatives of a resident of Irkutsk oblast, who was beaten in August 2022, expressed their distrust in the law enforcement agencies of the region due to inaction on their application. During the conflict, the victim suffered a broken jaw and concussion.

In addition, it is noted that one of the attackers threatens the victim's family with onslaught if they contact law enforcement agencies.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed Mr. Sitnikov A.V., Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Irkutsk oblast, to arrange a procedural inspection on this fact immediately, and to detect all the circumstances of the crime and to take measures to protect the legal rights of the victim and its family.

The line and results of the inspection are the subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
