On the evening of October 8, 2022, the suspect, who was in one of city parks of Lipetsk oblast, had an argument with a group of teenagers. In response to verbal insults and ridicule, the suspect stabbed a 15-year-old teenager in the abdomen with a kitchen knife. The minor was hospitalized with damage to internal organs and massive bleeding. Currently, there is no threat to his life and health.

On this fact, Investigators of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Lipetsk Oblast launched a criminal case in accordance with Part 2, Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm), the suspect was detained.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. Shapovalov E.V., Head of the Investigative Directorate for Lipetsk Oblast to submit a report on the progress of the investigation.

The results of the investigation are the subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
