The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee instructs to report on the investigative progress related to the murder of a teenager in Moscow

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. A.A. Strizhov, Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Moscow, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation of the case launched on the death of a 14-year-old teenager in accordance with Part 2, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).

On October 16, 2022, the body of a 14-year-old teenager was found on a plot of land located in Kosino-Ukhtomsky raion in Moscow. It was preliminary detected that the day before the boy went for a walk with his mates and did not return home. The parents contacted Law Enforcement.

Currently, together with operative investigators, a set of investigative actions is being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime, as well as at detaining those involved in its comission. Witnesses, relatives and acquaintances of the teenager are interrogated, the recordings of surveillance cameras and the route of movement of the juvenile are examined. The criminal investigation continues.

The criminal investigation is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
