The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to launch a criminal investigation on the appeals of citizens about the damage of transport infrastructure in Volgograd Oblast

In September of this year, on the instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Volgograd Oblast, organized a pre-investigation inspection based upon the appeal of residents of the city of Volgograd with a complaint about the destruction of the transport infrastructure.

Currently, residents of Volgograd have recorded another video message to the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, which indicated that the Administrative Officials of Volgograd were ignoring the demands of thousands of citizens to restore the traffic of trolleybuses.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. Buravtsov D.V., Acting Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Volgograd Oblast, to launch a criminal investigation based on the arguments stipulated in the citizens' appeals and submit a report. The criminal investigation and its results are the subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
