The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to report on the investigation into the provision of unsafe services in a medical institution in Tyumen Oblast

In Tyumen Oblast, the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a criminal case at the request of a local resident on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (Part 2, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in one of the medical institutions. According to the woman, her daughter showed no signs of life after birth, as a result of which she was connected to artificial respirating unit. Investigators inspect all the circumstances of this incident.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Head of the Department, instructed Mr. A.A. Kublyakov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Tyumen Oblast, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation, making it a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
