In Sverdlovsk Oblast, a verdict is adjudicated on the commission of a number of crimes of past

The evidence collected by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation was recognized by the court as sufficient for issuing a sentence to the leaders of the gang group consisted in the father and the son named Mr. Gennady and Mr. Roman Vinogradovs. The verdict was adjudicated on the basis of a guilty verdict issued by jury. Depending on the role of each, the accused were found guilty of committing crimes prescribed in Article 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 209 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 307 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 159.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (creation of a stable armed group (gang), acting within created gang, commission of grave and especially grave crimes against a person and property of citizens, possession of weapons, murders, fraud).

The investigation and the court established that in 1992 Mr. Gennady Vinogradov created a stable armed group (gang) in order to attack citizens and gain benefits. His participation in the armed attack on 4 men in 1994, illegal arms trafficking, insurance fraud and inducement to give knowingly false testimony has been proven.

The court also found Mr. Roman Vinogradov guilty of the murder of Mr. Andrei Buksin, a businessman, in 2003. Mr. Roman Vinogradov guilty of illict arms trafficking.

The verdict sentenced Mr. Gennady Vinogradov to 15 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 rubles, and Mr. Roman Vinogradov is sentenced by verdict to 11 years in prison and a fine of 50,000 rubles. Also, Mr. Roman Vinogradov is obliged to pay compensation for non-pecuniary damage to the victim in the amount of 500 thousand rubles. The convicts will serve their sentences in a strict regime penal colony. They are taken into custody in the courtroom.
