The Investigative Committee holds a celebration event dedicated to the Day of National Unity

In honor of the Day of National Unity, a celebration event was held in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. It was attended by Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, First Deputy and Deputy Chairmen of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Heads, Officers of Directorates of the Main Directorate of the Department, Officers of Territorial and Military Investigative Bodies, Veterans of the Investigation, Teachers and Students of Educational Institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia, members of the Public Council under the Investigative Committee Russia and the Council of Heroes. In addition, there were relatives of the Investigative Committee Officers, who died in the line of duty, relatives of servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Fighters who gave their lives during a Special Military Operation.

The following persons were among the guests of honor: Mr. A.A. Klishas, ​​member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Hero of Russia V.A. Shamanov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly; Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation Mr. A.G. Zvyagintsev. Senator of the International Association of Prosecutors; President of the National Medical Chamber Dr. L.M. Roshal; People's Artist of the USSR Yu.M. Solomin; People's Artist of the RSFSR M.I. Nozhkin; Head of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Affairs, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood Father Fyodor Lukyanov; Ms. S.S. Zhurova, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Mr. A.S. Shaevich, Chief Rabbi of Russia and others.

As part of the event, flowers were laid at the memorial plaque in memory of the Investigative Committee Officers, who died in the line of duty.

Opening the event, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin emphasized that today's holiday is a symbol of the Unity of Society, nations and generations. He noted that this year celebration is a very special one due to the entry of four subjects into the Russian Federation. "This year, National Unity Day is marked by the reunification of the Russian Federation with the Donetsk and the Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson Oblasts. People expressed their desire, and their will of the citizens of these Oblasts by referendums on joining Russia; and it was implemented by signing Constitutional Laws. This choice is under the reliable protection of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the head of the department noted.

Everybody honored the memory of the Heroes who died during a Special Military Operation with a minute of silence, as well as the memory of Officers of the Russian Investigative Committee, who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Noting the importance of National Unity Day, the Head of the Russian Investigative Committee also added: "Our unity allowed us to defend Moscow during the Great Patriotic War, defend Leningrad, win the Battle of Stalingrad, take the Reichstag. Let our enemies remember that the strength of the Russian people is in its unity, we rally when it is necessary to save the Fatherland, when the fate of people is decided. Today, many Officers of the Investigative Committee work in the zone of a Special Military Operation, investigating the crimes of the Kiev regime. All those guilty of fascism, Nazism and other grave crimes against humanity will be punished. Victory will be ours!" - emphasized Mr. A.I. Bastrykin. He added that "we are fighting for our future, so the Investigative Committee pays great attention to the education of young people. We make sure that a new worthy generation of Officers grows up, to whom we will transfer our deeds and initiatives. Thanks to our Veterans, members of the Public Council, the Council of Heroes under the Russian Investigative Committee, who are carrying out this work together with us, taking the most direct, caring part".

The award ceremony for the winners of the contest of professional skills for young investigators "Investigator by Calling" was held within the event. During the competition, the theoretical knowledge of the current legislation, the passing of physical standards, as well as the practical and forensic skills of young specialists were evaluated. The first place was awarded to Mr. B.O. Beknazaryan, Senior Investigator of the Investigative Division for Kirovsky Rayon of the Astrakhan city of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Astrakhan Oblast, the second place was shared between Mr. I.A. Skripnichenko, Senior Investigator of the Investigative Division for the Pechora city of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Komi and Mr. A.A. Butyrkin, Senior Investigator of the Orenburg Investigative Division for Transport of the Main Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The third place was awarded to Ms. I.A. Trofimenko, Senior Investigator of the Investigative Division for Petushinsky Raion of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Vladimir Oblast.

Then the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee presented High Departmental awards to a number of Honored Guests, among whom were representatives of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Veterans of the Investigating Authorities, public figures and representatives of the media, as well as various Church Denominations. At the end, there was a concert prepared by the Cultural Center of the Russian Investigative Committee, within the framework of which the State Academic Choreographic Ensemble "Beryozka" named after N.S. Nadezhdina, soloists of the Moscow Theater and concert musical association "Gradsky Hall" and other artists.
