The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructs to report on a number of incidents in Bashkortostan

One of the social networks reported that an elderly woman lives in an abandoned house in Ufa, while the house built in the 1950s was declared unsafe. For more than three years there has been no electricity, heating or water in the building. All doors in the house are boarded up except for one. The woman is practically unable to walk. The files published on social networks say that compassionate neighbors pass water and hot tea to the retiree. However, the situation with the resettlement of a woman to a house with proper living conditions has not yet been resolved.

Also, information about an accident in Bashkortostan, as a result of which the driver of a foreign manufactured car knocked down two teenage cyclists aged 14 and 16, was distributed in the media. The Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan are petitioning for the transfer of files about the mentioned accident from the Internal Affairs Bodies to their proceeding.

The Head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed Mr. Masallimov I.G., Acting Head of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR for the Republic of Bashkortostan, to submit a report on both situations. The instruction is also related to the report on the measures taken to restore the housing rights of an elderly woman.
