On November 7, 2022, an elevator cabin broke in an apartment building in Irkutsk. There were adults and children inside it. None of the citizens were significantly injured. The Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Irkutsk Oblast are detecting this fact.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. Sitnikov A.V., Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Irkutsk Oblast, to report on the progress and intermediate results of the inspection.
