The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia holds a personal reception of citizens on issues of support for military personnel

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, hosted a reception of citizens. The meeting, which was held via videoconference, was attended by Mr. Eduard Valeryevich Kaburneev, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Mr. Sergey Nikolaevich Goryainov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Mr. Konstantin Evgenievich Korpusov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation - Head of the Main Military Investigative Directorate, Heads of divisions of the Main Directorate, as well as the Leadership of Territorial Investigative Bodies.

The personal reception was devoted to listening to the results of work relative to the support provided to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including the support to those, who was called up for military service within partial mobilization.

Thus, two servicemen, on behalf of the fighters called up for military service within the partial mobilization from the Chuvash Republic, thanked the Head of the Russian Investigative Committee and the staff of the Department for the prompt response and detailed explanations given to them regarding the timing and amount of funds due to them. Mr. A.I. Bastrykin listened to the report of Mr. Radik Faukatovich Garaev, Head of the Military Investigation Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Central Military Okrug. He said that he managed to resolve the problematic issues, thanks to the procedural decisions made. The servicemen were given appropriate explanations on all issues. The Head of the Russian Investigative Committee instructed to keep the situation under control. The Heads of the Investigative Directorates of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Chuvash Republic and the Ulyanovsk Oblast were also given relevant instructions.

In addition, the Head of the Russian Investigative Committee listened to the Applicants. They were the wives of Russian servicemen from Kirov Oblast and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The women voiced a number of issues of their concern and they expressed their gratitude to the Officers of the Russian Investigative Committee for the assistance, including in obtaining the payments required by law. The Heads of the Territorial Divisions were instructed to take patronage over the families of the Applicants. Mr. A.I. Bastrykin indicated that the Investigative Committee is ready to provide any assistance, including in terms of children getting education in the Departmental Cadet Corps.

At the end of the personal reception, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin gave a number of specific instructions to his subordinates, including promptly responding to signals about the violation of the rights of military personnel who are performing serious combat missions. He emphasized that in order to avoid ambiguous situations, it is very important to bring information to the fighters in a timely manner and provide the necessary explanations.
