The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee instructs to give a legal assessment of the demolition and desecration of monuments in Ukraine

It is reported that in Uzhgorod, Ukraine, a monument to Soviet soldiers "Ukraine-Liberators" was demolished, which was erected in 1970 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the liberation from the fascist invaders.

It is also reported that in Odessa, vandals again desecrated the monument to the Russian commander A.V. Suvorov, writing a phrase calling for the dismantling of the monument on it.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed to give a legal assessment of the actions of individuals involved in the incident.
