A video message from a resident of Krasnoyarsk Krai has been downloaded on social media, which reported that a grandson of one elderly lady is in a coma in the intensive care unit of one of the hospitals in the Kansk city, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and doctors do not provide proper medical care to him. Based on this, the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Khakassia launched a criminal investigation on the offense of a crime prescribed in Part 2, Article 118 of the Criminal Code (infliction of grievous bodily harm by negligence, committed as a result of improper performance of the professional duties by a person).

The Head of the Department instructed Mr. Eremin A.L., Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Khakassia, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation. The investigation and its results are the subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
