The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to conduct an inspection on the situation related to the Kuban farmers

Today, a telecast of one of the Federal Channels aired a story about Krasnodar Krai where a local businessman, who also is a former Deputy is ruining successful entrepreneurs by using fraud and his connections with local judges. The Businessman entered into contracts, and then sought to stop the activities of his counterparties through the courts and, as a result, received complete bankruptcy of firms. The Entrepreneurs applied to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but criminal investigations have not yet been launched. The story says that the Businessman was supported by a judge of the Regional Court, who is currently on the wanted list. It is also reported that the former Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Novorossiysk works as the Head of the Security Service for him, and he helps to avoid prosecution by using his connections in Law Enforcement Agencies.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, instructed Mr. A.K. Maslov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnodar Krai, to report on the situation and to begin a procedural check on this; and now it is the subject to control of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
