The Head of the Department instructs to report on the progress of the procedural inspection on gas pipeline fire in Leningrad Oblast

On November 19, 2022, high-pressure gas pipeline caught fire in a forest belt in Vsevolozhsk raion of Leningrad Oblast between the Berngardovka and Rzhevka stations. The reasons are being clarified. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

On this fact, the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Leningrad Oblast organized a pre-investigation inspection in accordance with Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Head of Department, instructed Mr. D.Yu. Mityaev, Acting Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Leningrad Oblast, to report on the progress and intermediate results of the inspection.
