The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to report on environmental incidents in several regions

During the monitoring of the media, publications with complaints from residents of the Murygino settlement were revealed. They complain on the work of an Enterprise that burns medical and biological waste in the immediate vicinity of their settlement. According to activists, hazardous medical waste is stored improperly, the access to the territory of the Enterprise is free. According to this appeal, the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Kirov Oblast are conducting a pre-investigation inspection, all the circumstances are being detecting.

The Head of the Department instructed Mr. A.P. Vinogradov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Kirov Oblast, to submit a report on the progress of the procedural inspection.

Also, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. V.A. Nikeshkin, Head of the investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Ryazan Oblast, to report on the interim results of the criminal investigation on violation of the rules for handling environmentally hazardous substances and waste in the Ryazan city (Part 1, Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the investigation is a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
