A meeting of the Council of Young Investigators is held with the participation of the Women's Council under the Investigative Committee of Russia
Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, held a meeting of the Council of Young Investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee. The meeting was held with the participation of the Women's Council under the IC of Russia, which actively contributes to the solution of issues of social support for Officers and their families, as well as a number of organizational aspects of the activity.
The meeting was attended by Mr. E.V. Kaburneev, First Deputy Chairman of the IC of Russia; Mr. S.N. Goryainov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee; Heads of Directorates of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the Cultural Center of the Russian Investigative Committee, Heads and members of the Councils of young investigators of Territorial Investigative Bodies.
"The spud of a professional career is often associated with difficulties. We are working on resolving issues of medical, social security for Officers, and housing. However, one must understand that the profession of an investigator gives you not only great rights, but also imposes high responsibility, since the fate of people is in your hands. A real Officer should not only professionally investigate criminal cases, but also remain indifferent to human grief," said Mr. A.I. Bastrykin.
The Head of the Department reminded that formal attitude towards the work is not admissible, especially now, when Russia is conducting a Special Military Operation, fighting the criminal Nazi regime. He recalled that hundreds of Officers of the Russian Investigative Committee are working in the combat zone, among which there are many young Officers, and all of them show their effective work.
"We expect initiatives from young investigators and, most importantly, concrete work on the ground, especially in district divisions. It is necessary to respond to the appeals of citizens, and not dismiss them. Our priority is professional, patriotic, cultural and moral education of young Officers. In the Academies of the Investigative Committee of Russia we follow exactly this principle," said Mr. A.I. Bastrykin. Then the Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia listened to the participants of the meeting.
Members of councils of young investigators from a number of regions made their presentations. They shared their work experience, experience of interaction with mentors, asked clarifying questions. Ms. Oksana Olegovna Goryachkina, Head of the Investigative Directorate for the Investigative Department for Eastern Administrative Okrug of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow, gave practical advice and recommendations from mentors to young investigators. She noted that the institution of mentoring is very developed in the system of the Russian Investigative Committee and it helps in the professional development of young Officers who always have someone for advice and help provision.
Mrs. Anna Nikolaevna Savenkova, Chairman of the Women's Council under the Russian Investigative Committee, spoke at the meeting; she voiced the main aspects of work in resolving the problems that young investigators face. She recalled that the Women's Council is a Public Advisory Body, which includes: the spouses of Officers of the Russian Investigative Committee, the widows of the dead Officers, representatives of the Main Directorate of the Department, territorial divisions of the Russian Investigative Committee, the Alexander Nevsky Cadet Corps of the Russian Investigative Committee, Mothers of the dead Young Heroes.
Following the meeting, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin noted that special attention should be paid to the adaptation of young investigators and effective interaction with mentors. The Directorate of Educational Work, together with the Leadership of Departmental Academies and representatives of the Personnel Directorate, were instructed to analyze the professional development of graduates of Departmental Academies on a regular basis. The Heads of the Territorial Investigative Bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia were instructed to interact more actively with the Women's Council and the Council of Young Investigators in order to objectively and comprehensively know the real state of affairs on the ground, to see the problems that young Officers face.
Within the meeting, an agreement was reached on the development and preparation of a list of problematic issues by the Women's Council for its further consideration by the leadership of the IC of Russia.
