The Head of the Russian Investigative Committee instructs to organize an inspection into the fact of a possible violation of the housing rights of a large family and a disabled person in Lipetsk Oblast

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Mr. Shapovalov E.V., Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Lipetsk Oblast, to organize a procedural inspection on the reports published by media about possible violations of the housing rights of a large family and a disabled person in the city of Lipetsk, and also to submit a report on the situation.

The media reported that a large family, as well as a family with a disabled person, lived in an emergency house on Ivan Franko Street in the city of Lipetsk. Families received apartments from the Authorities within the resettlement program but the housing received does not meet the necessary requirements in their opinion.

The Head of the Department instructed the investigators to comprehensively study all the circumstances of the incident. The inspection and its results are the subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
