Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, held a brief meeting on the staffing and logistics support of the Investigative Bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Donetsk, Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson Oblasts.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Eduard Valerievich Kaburneev, First Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia; Mr. Sergey Nikolaevich Goryainov, Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia; Mr. Konstantin Evgenievich Korpusov, Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation - Head of the Main Military Investigative Directorate, Heads of Directorates of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia listened to the progress reports related to organizing the work at the newly created Investigative Directorates.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin noted that many Officers of the Investigative Committee expressed their readiness to work in New Units, and active reserve of personnel has already been approved for service. It consists of the most experienced Officers of the Department. At the same time, the Head of the Russian Investigative Committee paid special attention to the safety of staff, emphasizing that all candidates undergo additional training and the necessary briefing, in relation to medical issues and other aspects.

In addition, the issue of hiring Officers of the Prosecutor's Offices of the DPR and LPR with investigative work experience in the above-mentioned Investigative Directorates is being considered, many of whom have expressed a desire to serve in these Units. After they finalize the documents in accordance with the current Russian Legislation, their candidacies will be considered.

Aspects of the technical equipment of Forensic Services were considered, including the Forensic Expert Center of the Russian Investigative Committee.

It was instructed to continue developing the regulatory framework, which guides the activities of the newly created Investigative Directorates.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin called on the Heads of the Dedicative Divisions of the Russian Investigative Committee to take maximum responsibility in matters of staffing and technical support for new Directorates. It was noted that the building of a clear system for protecting the rights and interests of citizens living in these territories depends on the timely implementation of these measures.
