The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to report on incidents in Primorsky Krai


The remains of three people with signs of violent death were found in the local area in the Rudny village, Primorsky Krai. On this fact, the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Primorsky Krai launched a criminal investigation in accordance with paragraph "a" Part 2, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). The suspect has been identified and he is in a medical institution now, the issue of imposing a restraint measure against him is being decided.

It was also reported that during the year, a female resident of Primorsky Krai systematically was beating her 12-year-old son, causing him moral and physical harm: she beat him with a stool, threatened him with a knife, repeatedly threatened to kill him. The Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Primorsky Krai launched a criminal case against the woman in accordance with paragraph "d", Part 2, Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture). The suspect has been detained.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. V.V. Fomin, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Primorsky Krai, to report on the circumstances of the commission of the mentioned above crimes. The criminal investigations are te subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
