On December 03, 2022, the Investigating Authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and The Republic of Khakassia received a message about the discovery of the body of a 36-year-old woman and her two children - a 4-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy in a owner-occupied dwelling on Vokzalnaya Street in the Zaozerny town, Rybinsk Raion. On this fact, a criminal case was launched in accordance with Part 3, Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (infliction of death by negligence on two or more persons). Presumably, the cause of the fire was a violation of the rules of installation and operation of the furnace. During the inspection, it was found that the chimney was in close proximity to the wooden ceiling.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. Eremin A.L., Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnoyarsk Krai and The Republic of Khakassia, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation.
