This weekend there will be premiere show of the documentaries titled "Without a statute of limitations. From the arms of death" and "Unworthy heirs", produced by the National Film Fund "Patriot" LLC with the assistance of the Russian Investigative Committee.

The first film is devoted to the investigation of the crimes on the genocide of the Soviet people by the Nazis and their collaborators during the Great Patriotic War.

The victory of the USSR over the Nazi invaders came at a high price. Not only soldiers of the Red Army gave their lives for peace of future generations, but also civilians, including women and children, who were subjected to genocide by the invaders. 80 years ago, the Extraordinary State Commission was established in the USSR to detect and investigate the atrocities of the Nazi invaders. The results of its work were used during open trials of the Nazis and their collaborators, as well as during the Nuremberg Tribunal. However, not all criminals were convicted then. Therefore, the work of the predecessors today is continued by the Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia. A Directorate for the investigation of war crimes, genocide and the rehabilitation of Nazism has been established in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
